Hello, my name is David Porter and I am the owner and head guide/instructor here at South End Adventures. I am originally from Florence, SC which is a little over on hour from the Grand Strand. My whole life I have always been an active individual and have always loved being in the outdoors; whether that be surfing, fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, camping, etc., it's all good in my book. The joy and healthy benefits that I get from outdoor recreation have truly enhanced my life in a positive way, and I feel extremely blessed that as a surf instructor and guide I get to be around for many people's first waves, fish, kayak trip; they are special moments. Throughout the years I have learned the necessary skills and knowledge to safely lead people and give them the skills and confidence to succeed in and around the water. A day at the beach or on the water is a good day if you ask me. See y'all there.
